Why we're building Persist
Every member of the Persist team has had family affected by chronic conditions requiring difficult, often painful treatments.

Karthik completed a Ph.D in Bioengineering with a focus on drug delivery to the brain from the University of Utah. He has over 10 years of experience across drug delivery, automation, and machine learning.
Christopher Shelner, M.S, CSSBB
COO
Chris is a mechanical engineer by training and an expert in organizational strategy. He has worked across automation, synthetic biology, and electronics manufacturing in Northrop Grumman, Infineon and Zymergen over his career.
